The Project: Supply and fit of new Rehau and Origin windows and Origin bifolds in Ashtead
Last year our customers bought a 1960s-style house and planned a complete renovation, with new windows and doors. They wanted to achieve a traditional country-style aesthetic at the front of their property and a contemporary look at the rear.

After consultations with our customers, they opted for a Rehau Rio window in Chartwell Green at the front of their property. The green colour offered a fantastic choice for helping them to achieve a traditional country look. The flush sash helps the window look like a timber window, again helping with the classic theme. Whilst offering period aesthetics, the Rehau Rio provides all the benefits of contemporary manufacturing, including excellent energy efficiency, security, and low maintenance requirements.
To the rear of the property, our customer opted for Rehau Rio windows in black, offering a more modern and sleek design.
The doors and gable windows were supplied by Origin. The customer opted for the OB49 bifold system. These doors have very slim sightlines, helping maximise the light in the downstairs living spaces.
These Origin doors are some of the most popular on the market and have sightlines of just 110mm, so they are also some of the slimmest and can offer panoramic views. In addition, these doors are very energy efficient and can reach low U Values as low as 1.2. They have luxury stainless steel as standard, offering the perfect aesthetic for contemporary properties.
The Results
Our experienced window and door installers fitted the new products efficiently, and the customer was delighted with the results.
